The 2027 PAE Solar Equity Grant
Applications are open for PAE’s 2027 Solar Equity Grant. Eligible nonprofits across the United States can apply for up to $150,000 in funding for on-site solar projects.
Nonprofits are often on the front lines of serving their communities, yet rising energy costs and limited access to capital can make it difficult to invest in renewable energy. PAE’s annual Solar Equity Grant helps 501(c)(3) organizations address these barriers and reduce long-term energy costs, so more resources can go toward their missions.
We are accepting proposals for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, with the option to include battery storage. Selected applicants may receive up to $150,000 in funding, along with technical guidance from PAE engineers during early project development.
Eligibility
Organizations must:
• Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
• Own the facility where the system will be installed
• Be located in one of the following cities: Seattle, Spokane, Portland, Eugene, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Reno, Denver, Boston, New York, or Honolulu.
• Demonstrate sufficient electrical demand for the proposed solar system.
• Submit a proposal by January 29, 2027
